Welcome Fellow Adventurers!
Hello! I’m Ben, a traveler, adventurer, and wildlife enthusiast. I was always a huge animal lover while growing up, but didn’t know the experiences that awaited me until I joined the Marine Corps.
Arriving at my first duty station, I immediately deployed to Kenya (along with Uganda, Tanzania, and Somalia). I was immediately enchanted by the boundless beauty. The vast, open spaces stretched endlessly, a canvas of untamed wilderness teeming with life.
The wildlife stirred my spirit, as did the warm and vibrant people. It was here, amidst the symphony of nature and the land, that I discovered a deep and abiding love for Africa and its wild, untamed heart.
When I separated from the military, I had traveled to 32 countries. I swore though, I would return to Africa many more times, and continue to traverse for wildlife in new places.
On this blog, you’ll find a mix of travel guides, personal stories, and practical tips that I’ve gathered along the way. Whether you’re a fellow globetrotter looking for your next destination or someone dreaming of your first big adventure, my goal is to inspire and equip you with the information you need to make your travels unforgettable.
I specialize in exploring wildlife and exploring wildlife heavy destinations, my adventures are as varied as they are exciting. Traveling is more than just a hobby; it’s a way of life that teaches us about the world and ourselves. I invite you to join me on this journey, to share in the stories and experiences, and to find inspiration for your own adventures.
